Rocker Arm: Removal

CAUTION: During engine repair procedures, cleanliness is extremely important. Any foreign material, including any material created while cleaning gasket surfaces, that enters the oil passages, coolant passages, or the oil pan can cause engine failure.
CAUTION: If removing more than one rocker arm, mark the components removed for correct location.
  1. Remove the valve cover. For additional information, refer to VALVE COVER-RH  and VALVE COVER-LH .
  2. Remove the rocker arms.
    • Remove the bolts.
