Pinpoint Test A: No Communication With The Traction Control Module

Test Step
A1 CHECK THE VOLTAGE TO THE TRACTION CONTROL MODULE
- Key in OFF position.
- Disconnect: Traction Control Module C135.
- Key in ON position.
- Measure the voltage between the traction control module C135 pin 4, circuit 15-CF6A (GN/YE), harness side and ground.
- Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
Result / Action to Take
Yes
Go to A2.
No
REPAIR the circuit. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. TEST the system for normal operation.
Test Step
A2 CHECK THE TRACTION CONTROL MODULE GROUNDS
- Key in OFF position.
- Measure the resistance between the traction control module C135 pin 16, circuit 91-CF6 (BK/YE), harness side and ground; and between the traction control module C135 pin 47, circuit 91-CF13 (BK/BU), harness side and ground.
- Are the resistances less than 5 ohms?
Result / Action to Take
Yes
REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK .
No
REPAIR the circuit in question. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. TEST the system for normal operation.
