Pinpoint Test C: The Coast Switch Is Inoperative

C1 CHECK COAST SWITCH

Key in OFF position.
Disconnect: Speed Control Actuator C122.
Measure the resistance between the speed control actuator C122 pin 5, circuit 8-PG13 (WH), and C122 pin 6, circuit 9-PG13 (BN), harness side, while the (COAST) switch is pressed.

Is the resistance between 110 and 130 ohms?

Yes

INSTALL a new speed control actuator. TEST the system for normal operation.

GO to C2.

C2 CHECK RESUME SWITCH

Measure the resistance between the speed control actuator C122 pin 5, circuit 8-PG13 (WH), and C122 pin 6, circuit 9-PG13 (BN), harness side, while the (RESUME) switch is pressed.

Is the resistance between 110 and 130 ohms?

Yes

INSTALL a new COAST switch. TEST the system for normal operation.

Go To PINPOINT TEST A: THE SPEED CONTROL IS INOPERATIVE .
