Test B: Single Mirror Inoperative

  1. Remove driver's door trim panel. Remove mirror control switch. Test mirror control switch. See MIRROR CONTROL SWITCH  under COMPONENT TESTS. If switch is okay, go to next step. If switch is not okay, replace mirror control switch. Recheck system operation.
  2. Remove appropriate door trim panel. Disconnect inoperative mirror assembly harness connector. Measure resistance of Yellow wire between mirror control switch harness connector C507 terminal No. 6 and inoperative mirror assembly harness connector. See Figure , Fig 1 and Fig 2 . If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace inoperative mirror assembly. If resistance is 5 ohms or greater, repair open or high resistance in Yellow wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Recheck system operation.
