WARNING: Disable air bag system before working around steering column or removing any air bag system component. See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS - EXPLORER & MOUNTAINEER article.
CAUTION: Side air bag system must be deactivated for diagnosis of power seat (if equipped). See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS - EXPLORER & MOUNTAINEER article. Air Bag Simulator (418-F088) must be installed under seats to floor connector, and removed before operating vehicle.
CAUTION: When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery.
NOTE: Removal and installation information on power lumbar switch and pump was not available from manufacturer.
