Anti-Lock Brake System - 4WAL: Description

The Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) allows the driver to stop in the shortest distance while maintaining steering control. During normal anti-lock operation a pulsation in brake pedal and a clicking sound will be sensed. System consists of a master cylinder/booster assembly, ABS control module, Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU), electric pump/motor, G-switch, acceleration sensor (4WD), 4 wheel sensors, and 2 warning lights.
