Self-Diagnostic System

Connect New Generation Star (NGS) tester to Data Link Connector (DLC). Using NGS tester, perform Powertrain Control Module (PCM) self-test. Perform appropriate test under SYSTEM TEST in accordance with DTC retrieved. See POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE INDEX  table.
