CAUTION:
When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See FORD MOTOR CO. in appropriate COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery.
NOTE:
Prior to removal of GEM, it is necessary to upload module configuration information to scan tool. This information needs to be downloaded into new module once installed.
