Master Cylinder/Booster Assembly: Installation

  1. Install NEW "O" ring into groove in master cylinder. Ensure "O" ring is seated properly. Position master cylinder onto mounting studs. Tighten mounting nuts to specification. Reverse removal procedure to complete installation.
  2. Tighten fittings to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Fill reservoir with DOT 3 brake fluid. Bleed brake system using procedure specified. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM  . Operate brake several times. Check for leaks.
