Module Programming

Front Electronic Module (FEM), Rear Electronic Module (REM), and Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) module require configuration data transfer before replacement. Replacement modules are packaged with a kit which contains a warning label and multi-language sheet identifying requirements to configure replacement modules. New Generation Star (NGS) tester, must be used to retrieve configuration data from old module prior to removal from vehicle. This information must be transferred to new module. NGS tester will not retain stored configuration data information for more than 24 hours.
