Fuel Pump Driver Module (FPDM) receives a duty-cycle signal from Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and controls fuel pump operation in relation to this duty cycle. This results in variable fuel pump operation speed. The FPDM sends diagnostic information to PCM on fuel pump monitor circuit.
