System Tests: Notes
CAUTION:
Keep driver's window rolled down when performing system tests to avoid getting locked out of vehicle.
NOTE:
Before beginning system tests, perform PRELIMINARY INSPECTION under TROUBLE SHOOTING. Ensure battery is fully charged. Lubricate door lock latch and linkage system. Manually cycle door locks 10 times to ensure proper operation.
A Digital Volt-Ohmmeter (DVOM) is required for testing the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) system.
