REMOVAL







1. Disconnect the Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) module electrical connector.







2. Remove the PATS module by pulling it up off the two locator tabs on the bracket.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

CAUTION: Once the new PATS module is installed, it is necessary to configure the module.

NOTE:
^ Prior to starting the vehicle, check for PATS DTCs. If DTCs are retrieved, carry out the appropriate pinpoint test.
^ When the PATS module is replaced, both ignition keys must be relearned and stored in memory. Insert each key in the ignition and turn to RUN for automatic programming.
