Gearshift Lever: Installation

Position the gearshift lever.
Connect the select cable.

Connect the gearshift cable.

CAUTION: Make sure the clips are set completely within the cable adapter groove and fully seated.

Install the 2 gearshift cable clips.

Install the 4 gearshift lever bolts.
- Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
Adjust the gearshift cables. For additional information, refer to MANUAL TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION AND CLUTCH - GENERAL INFORMATION article.
Install the floor console. For additional information, refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL AND CONSOLE article.
