Programming Using 2 Programmed Keys
NOTE:
This procedure only works if 2 or more keys are already programmed, 2 of the programmed keys are available and PCM PID SPARE_KEY is enabled. See SPARE KEY PROGRAMMING SWITCH . A maximum of 8 keys can be programmed.
Insert a programmed key into ignition switch. Turn ignition switch to RUN position for one second. Turn ignition switch to OFF position and remove key. Within 5 seconds, insert another programmed ignition key into ignition switch and turn ignition switch to RUN position for one second. Turn ignition switch to OFF position and remove key. Within 5 seconds, insert ignition key to be programmed into ignition switch and turn ignition switch to RUN position for one second. Turn ignition switch to OFF position and remove key. Vehicle should now start with new ignition key.
