Security Access

NOTE: DO NOT disconnect New Generation Star (NGS) tester during this procedure or procedure will have to be started over from beginning.

Connect NGS tester to DLC. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Enter PCM on NGS tester. Select SECURITY ACCESS. Wait 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, a new menu will be displayed with command options (IGNITION KEY CODE ERASE or SPARE KEY PROGRAMMING SWITCH). Select desired function. Once NGS tester exits this menu, security access procedure must be carried out again to carry out additional commands.
