Test D: One-Touch Down Feature Is Inoperative (4-Door)
- Test driver's power window control switch. See DRIVER'S POWER WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH (4-DOOR) . If driver's power window control switch is okay, go to next step. If driver's power window control switch is faulty, replace driver's power window control switch.
- Turn ignition ON. Push DOWN on driver's power window control switch to second detent. Listen and feel one-touch down relay. If relay clicks, go to next step. If relay does not click, go to step 4.
- Turn ignition OFF. Disconnect one-touch down relay connector C738. Turn ignition ON. Push DOWN on driver's power window switch to second detent. Measure voltage between C738 terminal No. 4 (Green/Black wire) and ground. See Figure. If battery voltage is present, replace one-touch down relay and test system operation. If battery voltage is not present, repair open or high resistance in Green/Black wire and test system operation.
- Turn ignition OFF. Disconnect one-touch down relay connector C738. Turn ignition ON. Push DOWN on driver's power window switch to second detent. Measure voltage between C738 terminal No. 3 (Green/Blue wire) and ground while holding control switch DOWN. If battery voltage is present, install new one-touch down relay and test system operation. If battery voltage is not present, repair open or high resistance in Green/Blue wire and test system operation.
