Power Door Lock System & Remote Keyless Entry System: Programming: Transmitter
- Turn ignition switch from OFF position to RUN position 8 times within 10 seconds, ending in RUN position. If Generic Electronic Module (GEM) has successfully entered programming mode, GEM will lock and unlock all doors.
- Within 7.5 seconds, press any button on first RKE transmitter. Within another 7.5 seconds, press any button on second RKE transmitter. Repeat process for third and fourth transmitter. All doors should lock and unlock to confirm each RKE transmitter has been programmed. If door locks do not respond for any transmitter, wait 2-7 seconds and press the button on that transmitter again.
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position to exit program mode or wait 5 minutes. If RKE transmitter has been programmed, GEM will lock and unlock all doors one last time. Try each RKE transmitter to verify programming.
