Removal & Installation

Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect Idle Air Control (IAC) valve harness connector. Remove bolts from IAC valve and remove IAC valve. Clean gasket mating surfaces. Replace IAC valve gasket as necessary. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten IAC valve bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
