Removal & Installation

Disconnect negative battery ground cable. Remove driver's side instrument panel lower insulator pin-type retainers. Remove instrument panel lower insulator. See STEP 1 in Fig 1. Remove lower steering column cover screws. Remove lower steering column cover. See STEP 2 in Fig 1. Remove lower steering column cover reinforcement screws. Remove lower steering column cover reinforcement. See STEP 3 in Fig 1. Remove PATS module bolts and bracket. Disconnect harness connector and remove module. See STEP 4 in Fig 1. To install, reverse removal procedure.
