Removal and Installation

Remove the center console. For additional information, refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL AND CONSOLE .
Remove the PRNDL indicator bulb.

Disconnect the electrical connector.

Disconnect the cable from the lever.
1. Remove the shift interlock cable from the bracket.
2. Disconnect the cable from the lever.

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to JACKING & HOISTING .
Disconnect the transmission shift cable from the selector lever.

Lower the vehicle.
Remove the shifter assembly.
- Remove the bolts.
- Remove the shifter assembly and integral TCS.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
