Driver Seat: Installation

All vehicles 

1. Position the seat in the vehicle.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Install the nuts.

4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Connect the seat electrical connector.

   Vehicles without side air bags 

6. Install the side air bag bridge resistor onto the seat frame.

   Vehicles with side air bags 

NOTE: The driver seat side air bag electrical connector has been removed from the seat for clarity.
7. Connect the driver seat side air bag electrical connector.
   1. Connect the driver seat side air bag electrical connector.
   2. Slide and engage the driver seat side air bag electrical connector locking clip.

      All vehicles 

8. Repower the SRS. Refer to ACTIVATING SYSTEM .
9. Check the active restraint system for correct operation.
