Accessing Parameter Identification

NOTE: Parameter Identification (PID) definitions for Electronic Crash System (ECS) module are not available from manufacturer.

Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Connect NGS tester to DLC. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Using NGS tester manufacturer's instructions, select MODEL YEAR, VEHICLE, DIAGNOSTIC DATA LINK, then PID/DATA MONITOR AND RECORD for desired module. Operate appropriate system and ensure PID expected values are obtained. See appropriate PID definitions table under PARAMETER IDENTIFICATION DEFINITIONS .
