Removal & Installation

Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove right rear quarter trim panel. Disconnect 2 Remote Anti-Theft Personality (RAP) module harness connectors. Disconnect ground strap and RAP module antenna. Remove 2 RAP module mounting nuts and remove RAP module bracket. Lift 2 tabs and remove RAP module from bracket. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten RAP module mounting nuts to 6.8-8.5 INCH lbs. (9.0-11.5 N.m).
