Test D: Remote Transmitter Out Of Synchronization (DTC B2425)
- Press any button on inoperative remote transmitter 4 times consecutively. If remote transmitter still does not operate properly, go to next step. If remote transmitter now operates properly, system is okay at this time. Clear DTCs using NGS tester manufacturer's instructions. Retest system operation.
- Check all other remote transmitters for proper operation. If all other remote transmitters operate properly, go to next step. If all other remote transmitters do not operate properly, go to step 4.
- Press any button on any operating remote transmitter. Within 30 seconds, press a button on inoperative remote transmitter. Check if inoperative remote transmitter now operates properly. If inoperative remote transmitter still does not operate properly, go to next step. If inoperative remote transmitter now operates properly, clear DTCs using NGS tester manufacturer's instructions. Retest system operation.
- Reprogram inoperative remote transmitter(s). See REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY TRANSMITTER PROGRAMMING under PROGRAMMING. If inoperative remote transmitter(s) still does not operate properly, perform TEST A: ALL DOOR LOCKS ARE INOPERATIVE USING REMOTE TRANSMITTER (DTC B1341) . If inoperative remote transmitter(s) now operate properly, inform customer that any additional remote transmitters not available during reprogramming will not operate with vehicle. All remote transmitters must be programmed at the same time. Clear DTCs using NGS tester manufacturer's instructions. Retest system operation.
