Preliminary Inspection

Verify customer's complaint by operating power window system. Before performing any testing, perform visual inspection. Check for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage. Check window alignment, mounting (regulator and bracket) and for frame interference. Check Central Junction Box (CJB) power window fuse (30-amp). Check for damaged wiring harness and/or loose or corroded connections. Check for damage to switches and power window motors. Repair as necessary. If no problem is found, repair by symptom.
