Removal And Installation

- Remove the instrument panel center finish panel. For additional information, refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL AND CONSOLE article.
- Remove the temperature selector gear knob.
- Remove the temperature selector gear screw.
- Press the tab and rotate the temperature selector gear counterclockwise.
- Remove the temperature selector gear.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Place the temperature selector switch in the full cold position before installation.
NOTE:
Place the temperature selector switch in the full cold position before disengaging the temperature blend door actuator.
