- Actuator cable
- Fuse(s)
- Wiring harness
- Loose or corroded connector(s)
- Switch(es)
- Motor
- Circuitry
- Bulbs
- If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.
- Verify the speedometer operates correctly by driving the vehicle. If the speedometer does not operate correctly, refer to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER .
- Verify the stoplamps operate correctly by applying the brake pedal. If the stoplamps do not operate correctly, refer to EXTERIOR LIGHTING .
- Verify the horn operates correctly by pressing the horn switch. If the horn does not operate correctly, refer to HORN .
- If the concern is not visually evident, verify the symptom and refer to the SYMPTOM CHART .
