Brake Pedal Position Switch: Villager
Check the brake pedal free height. See appropriate DISC & DRUM article in BRAKES. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Disconnect the Brake Pedal Position (BPP) switch harness connector. Loosen the lock nut. Measure distance from brake pedal stopper to threaded end of stoplight switch. Switch height "A" should be 0.012-0.039" (0.30-1.00 mm). See Fig 1. Tighten the lock nut. Reconnect the BPP switch harness connector. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
