Retest system operation.
- Turn ignition switch to ON position. Using a voltmeter, measure voltage between ground and left front door master window/door lock switch Black 15-pin harness connector C510 terminal No. 10 (Black/White wire). See Figure. If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step. If voltage is 10 volts or less, repair open in Black/White wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Retest system operation.
- Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between ground and left front door master window/door lock switch Black 15-pin harness connector C510 terminals No. 7 and 12 (Black wires) individually. If resistance is less than 5 ohms in both measurements, replace left front door master window/door lock switch. Retest system operation. If either resistance reading is 5 ohms or more, repair open in appropriate Black wire(s). See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Retest system operation.
- Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect left front door master window/door lock switch Black 15-pin harness connector C510. Disconnect Black right front door window switch 10-pin harness connector C609. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Using a voltmeter, measure voltage between ground and left front door master window/door lock switch Black 15-pin harness connector C510 terminal No. 11 (Black/White wire). See Figure. Measure voltage between ground and right front door window switch 10-pin harness connector C609 terminal No. 8 (Black/White wire). See Fig 2. If both voltage readings are more than 10 volts, go to next step. If either voltage reading is 10 volts or less, repair open in appropriate Black/White wire(s). See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Retest system operation.

- Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between ground and left front door master window/door lock switch Black 15-pin harness connector C510 terminals No. 7, 9, 12, and 14 (Black wires) individually. If all resistance readings are less than 5 ohms, reconnect both window switch harness connectors and go to next step. If any resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open in appropriate Black wire(s). See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Retest system operation.
- Turn ignition switch to ON position. Operate right front door window from left front door master window/door lock switch controls. Operate right front door window switch. If left front door master window/door lock switch operates in one direction and right front door window switch does not operate in only one direction, go to next step. If left front door master window/door lock switch is inoperative in both directions and right front door window switch operates in only one direction, go to step 18.
