Support Insulator - LH: Notes

  1. Remove the battery tray.
    2. NOTE: 2.0L Zetec shown; 2.0L SPI similar.

  2. Install Three-Bar Engine Support.
  3. Remove the wiring harness from the LH support insulator and position aside.

  4. If equipped with the 2.0L SPI, disconnect the clutch slave cylinder tube and hose from the LH insulator.
    1. Remove the retaining clip.

    2. Position the clutch slave cylinder tube and hose aside.
  5. Remove the LH support insulator to transaxle nuts and washers.

  6. Remove the LH support insulator.
    1. Remove the nuts.

    2. Remove the bolts.
    3. Remove the LH support insulator.
