Manifold Pressure/Vacuum Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.

CAUTION: Make sure the ignition switch is in the OFF position prior to working on the electronic engine controls.







2. Disconnect the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor.
^ Disconnect the pressure hose.
^ Disconnect the electrical connector.







3. Remove the mounting screws and the MAP sensor.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
