Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

MASS AIR FLOW (MAF) SENSOR

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe.







3. CAUTION: The mass air flow (MAF) sensor electronics module and body are calibrated as a unit and must be serviced as a unit. Do not tamper with the sensing elements located in the air flow bypass of the MAF body.

Remove the components in the order indicated in the illustration and table.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
