Catalyst Monitor Sensor

EGO Sensor Wrench:

SPECIAL TOOL(S)

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it in a hoist.







3. Disconnect the Catalyst Monitor Sensor (CMS) electrical connector.







4. Using the special tool, remove the CMS.
^ If necessary, lubricate the HO2S with penetrating and lock lubricant to assist in removal.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Apply a light coat of anti-seize lubricant to the threads of the CMS.
