Engine Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.







2. Remove the instrument panel side trim.







3. Remove the cowl side trim panel.







4. Remove the glovebox.







5. Remove the passenger side lower footwell trim panel.







6. Remove the Central Security Module (CSM).
1 Remove the two retaining nuts.
2 Remove the (CSM) and bracket and position aside.







7. Disconnect the powertrain control (PCM) module electrical connectors and remove the PCM.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
