Exhaust Manifold: Removal

Remove the oil level indicator and tube.

Remove the radiator fan and shroud. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING .
Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield lower retaining bolts.

Detach the exhaust manifold from the catalytic converter.

Lower the vehicle.
Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield.

Remove the exhaust manifold.
- Remove the exhaust manifold downwards.
- Discard the gaskets.
