Removal and Installation: Notes

NOTE: The transmission fluid pan gasket is reusable. Clean and inspect for damage. If not damaged, the gasket should be reused.

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration and table.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Partially fill the transmission. For additional information, refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID DRAIN AND REFILL - WITHOUT TORQUE CONVERTER DRAIN PLUG .
