Pump - CII: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
  2. Remove the drive belt. For additional information, refer to ACCESSORY DRIVE .
  3. Disconnect the generator (GEN) electrical connectors. Remove the retaining clip.

  4. Remove the bolts.

  5. Disconnect the power steering hoses (3A719) and (3493). Remove and discard the seal.

  6. Using the special tool, remove the power steering pump pulley.

  7. Remove the drive belt idler pulley. For additional information, refer to ACCESSORY DRIVE .
  8. Remove the drive belt tensioner. For additional information, refer to ACCESSORY DRIVE .
  9. Remove the three bolts. Position the power steering pump (3A674) aside.

  10. Remove the two nuts and one bolt.

  11. Position the power steering pump support forward. Remove the power steering pump.
