1. Install the special tools into the torque converter.

2. Tighten the nut.

3. Install the special tool.

NOTE: If the indicator reading is above specification, install a new or remanufactured torque converter.

4. With the stylus contacting the converter shell and the dial indicator set to zero lift up on the handles of the checking tool.
