Seat-Rear, With Integral Child Safety Seat: Disassembly

  1. Remove the rear seat back latches; refer to LATCH-REAR SEAT WITH INTEGRAL CHILD SAFETY SEAT .
  2. If equipped, remove the seat back release knob guides.
    1. Squeeze the tabs.
    2. Remove the seat back release knob guides.

  3. Remove the rear seat trim cover.
  4. Remove the rear seat back pad.

  5. Remove the two child safety seat base pivot bolts.

  6. Remove the child safety seat base.
    1. Retract the pin links on both sides.
    2. Remove the child safety seat base.

  7. Unclip the pin link.
    1. Retract the pin.
    2. Compress the tabs.
    3. Unclip the pin link.

  8. Remove the pin link.
    1. Remove the speed nut.
    2. Remove the pin link.

  9. Remove the child safety seat safety belt cover.
    1. Remove the screws.
    2. Remove the child safety seat safety belt cover.
