Fuel System Pressure Release

WARNING: Before performing any fuel system related procedure, read and follow fuel system safety precautions. See FUEL SYSTEM SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .
WARNING: Always relieve fuel pressure before disconnecting any fuel injection related component. DO NOT allow fuel to contact engine or electrical components.

Remove fuel pump fuse, located in engine compartment fuse panel. Start engine and allow to run until it stalls. Attempt to restart engine twice to ensure fuel pressure is relieved. Reinstall fuel pump fuse.
