Actuator-Speed Control Servo: Removal

- Disconnect the battery cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
- Disconnect the speed control actuator cable from the throttle by opening the throttle manually and snapping the cable and connector off the nail head pin, in the direction shown.
- Remove the engine air cleaner assembly .
- Disconnect the speed control servo electrical connector.
- Remove the speed control servo bracket screws.
- Remove the speed control actuator cable cap.
- Press the locking tab.
- Rotate the speed control actuator cable cap counterclockwise.
- Disconnect the speed control cable from the speed control actuator pulley.
- Gently push the retaining spring.
- Disconnect the speed control cable slug from the speed control actuator pulley.
