Item 114: Sump Body Assembly Disassembly Note

- Remove the oil pump screen and tube, and the seal.
- Remove the four bolts and the oil pump.
- Discard the gasket.
- Remove the bolts in the sequence shown and remove the sump body.
CAUTION:
Use only hand tools to remove the oil pump screen and tube.
CAUTION:
Do not use metal scrapers, wire brushes, power abrasive discs or other abrasive means to clean the sealing surfaces. These tools cause scratches and gouges, which make leak paths. Use a plastic scraping tool to remove all traces of the sealant.
