Driver Door Module (DDM)

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Lincoln LS. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The driver door module (DDM) is connected to the SCP communication network. The DDM accepts the user memory set and recall buttons. The DDM then sends the memory set and recall commands to the other modules over the SCP bus. The DDM also controls the driver mirror (memory positions are stored there and manual functions are controlled there). The DSM controls the driver seat. The FEM control the passenger mirror and adjustable pedals positions. The instrument cluster controls the steering column positions. For additional information, refer to HANDLES, LOCKS, LATCHES AND ENTRY SYSTEMS .
