Ignition Switch Lock Cylinder: Installation

Position the ignition switch lock cylinder and bracket and loosely install the two new break-away bolts.
- Tighten the bolts only enough to hold the ignition switch lock cylinder in place.
- With the key in the ignition, verify the operation of the ignition switch lock cylinder.
- If necessary, reposition the ignition switch lock cylinder until it operates properly.
Tighten the ignition switch lock cylinder bracket break-away bolts until the bolt heads break off.

Install the ignition/shifter interlock cable and the mounting bracket bolt.

Connect the ignition switch electrical connector.

Install the multi-function switch; refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION in STEERING COLUMN SWITCHES - ZX2 article.
Inspect the shift interlock system; refer to SHIFT INTERLOCK SYSTEM .
