Differential Fluid Seals: Removal

  1. Remove the transmission case plug and washer and drain the transmission fluid. Discard the washer.

  2. Remove the halfshafts; refer to AXLE SHAFTS .
  3. Carefully pry the differential seal from the transmission case.
