Removal And Installation: Muffler: Installation
- Inspect the muffler for cracked joints, broken welds and corrosive damage that could result in exhaust system leaks. If necessary, replace the muffler.
- Position the muffler on the muffler inlet pipe and resonator and push the exhaust hanger insulators onto the mounting hooks.
- Tap the muffler until it is properly positioned.
- Install the clamp and the two nuts.
- Lower the vehicle.
