Removal and Installation

Remove the engine air cleaner (ACL) and the outlet tube. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION & FILTERING .
Depress the tab and remove the accelerator control splash shield.

Disconnect the cables and spring.
1. Disconnect the accelerator cable.
2. Disconnect the speed control cable.
3. Disconnect and remove the spring.

Compress the retaining tabs and remove the cables from the bracket.

Remove the bolts and accelerator cable bracket.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
