Removal And Installation: Wheel: Removal

Remove the driver side air bag module (043B13); refer to DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE .
Remove the steering wheel bolt.

CAUTION: Do not attempt to remove the steering wheel (3600) by hitting the steering column shaft with a hammer. The column will collapse.

Use (A) Steering Wheel Puller to remove the (B) steering wheel.
Tape the air bag sliding contact to prevent disturbing the air bag sliding contact alignment.
