Knock Sensor: Service and Repair

KNOCK SENSOR (KS)

REMOVAL
1. Remove the upper intake manifold.







2. Disconnect the knock sensor (KS) electrical connector.







3. Remove the bolt and the KS.

INSTALLATION

1. NOTE: Make sure the black tapered side is facing up.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
